My research is broadly concerned with learning and memory theory and how it can be applied to understand psychopathology. Particularly, I often make use of the fear conditioning paradigm to investigate whether anxiety disorders can be understood from a classical conditioning perspective.

In addition, my research interests include non-specific factor in psychotherapy (e.g., the placebo effect) and, recently, fear of the coronavirus.
